Project BeYouToFull is a project that celebrates authenticity!!! It includes a series of photos and interviews from people that inspire either me or you. We live in a world where we are confronted in every direction we turn with things/people/situations telling us who we should or should not be. In reality the more we embrace exactly who we are the more we can vulnerably pour that into what we create, the more that will resonate with other people around us. Loving ourselves FULLY and then expressing ourselves vulnerably is one of the most courageous things a person can do. This project celebrates those who do just that!!!

She and her husband John joined me in the studio for an interview and some questions
JP - What are some of the things that inspire you and bring you to life?
TJ - Oh wow, right off the bat I’m stumped! (Laughs) It’s hard to answer that right away, right now because I feel like I’m going through a big transition in my life. Things that used to inspire me when I was younger are no longer inspiring me now.
JP - Maybe because you are pushing past new limitations and you have already pushed past those limitations from back then and now you are elevating to the next level.
TJ - Absolutely - And I feel that I’m not quite there yet. This kind of feels funky for me to say but what is inspiring me right now are animals. I’m embracing vegetarianism. I’m not completely there yet but I want to eventually become vegan. That’s really strange for me because I’m from Scotland and we are farmers and hunters. We eat meat! But I look at the animals and I’ve just been so moved by my dog who is 11 years old and he’s not doing great. I look at his eyes and I know that there is something there to learn from. I’m looking at them with new eyes. I’m in a transition with my diet and the animals are inspiring me to keep going.
JP - What makes you feel vulnerable?
TJ - Oh I came down right away right there. This is going to be hard for me to say but addiction. I’m vulnerable every day. Addiction to anything - doesn’t matter. It’s a fight every day. Some days it is harder than others. Some days I’m on top of the world and it doesn’t matter but it is always there.
JP - What is love to you?
TJ - My husband - he came to my mind right away. I hesitate to say that because it is so cliche but it is not cliche in this day and age.
JP - How long have you been married?
TJ - 25 years. The reason for that is because it is unconditional from him - not necessarily unconditional from me. He has actually taught me how to love unconditionally. I’m not good at it. He was unconditional with me from the start when I was not unconditional.
JP - Do you have any causes you are passionate about or any passion projects?
TJ - The vegan lifestyle is becoming that for me. The more I explore this the more I get into this and the more passionate I feel about it. My other passion projects tend to have to do with work.
JP - Some of the things you tend to get involved with tend to be very radical like shaving heads for women going through chemo. You were right there for me when I made my transformation. They say anyone who is about to make that big of a change to their hair is about to change their life. You are usually right there for someone who is going through a major transformation that someone is going through.
TJ - I’m glad you said that. It can be a somewhat normal occurrence but when I tell someone that I’m going to shave someone’s head because they don’t want to deal with their hair falling out people are in awe of it. I forget how important it is. Although every time I do it the emotion is right there. Yes, I am privileged to do it. One thing comes to mind. I had worked with this client for a long time. I hadn’t seen her in a long while and I got a call from the family. I used to perm her hair. They asked me to do her hair for her viewing. I went there and I was terrified. I go in and it was definitely her and they gave me a picture of her with her hair curly but her hair was straight so I plugged in the curling irons and stood there for a long long time curling her hair. While I was doing that I felt her spirit. I knew she was around. It was an incredible experience.
JP - I think people are just drawn to you for transformations. There is something about you.
TJ - My Mom died when she was 41 and I had wished I could’ve done something. My Mom was always perfect. Her hair was perfect. Her makeup was perfect. She was a beautiful woman. But when she was lying there it just wasn’t right and I just wanted to do something so whenever I get the chance to do that I take it.
JP - If you could say something to everyone on the planet what would it be?
TJ - Love yourself. If you love yourself then you will love everything around you. It would be a better world. That’s hard to do. I have to tell myself that every day.
JP - Are you working on anything now that you want to talk about?
TJ - My slogan is “Women on top rock”! I want to be a CEO of a company.
JP - Do you have an idea for your business.
TJ - It will be in the beauty industry. I have to have my own product line. I want to be the CEO and have a team of people.
JP - Where can people find you.
TJ - People can find me on FB https://www.facebook.com/taylor.jameson.5?fref=ts
